Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. About this policy

This policy applies to the current pre-launch/demo version of ululu. ululu is not yet operating through a formally registered company. Formal operator details and the disclosures required for commercial launch will be added to this policy before ululu launches commercially.

2. Information we process

ululu may process:

  • parent account information, such as your mobile number and account and security information;
  • child profile information you enter as a parent, including a nickname, age or stage, language and selected preferences such as a favourite animal;
  • nickname pronunciation information and name-related audio clips, where you use personalised-name features;
  • listening and playback activity needed to run the service, resume stories, measure routine and story usage, and improve reliability;
  • session, security, browser or device information and ordinary server-log information;
  • cookieless, non-advertising usage analytics used to understand how the product performs.

3. How we use information

We use this information only to operate and secure the demo, personalise your child's experience, provide audio and story features, keep your account and profile state, understand product reliability and usage, and improve the service.

4. Children and parental control

Child profile information is provided and managed by a parent or guardian. ululu is designed so that creating an account, managing profiles, subscriptions and payment, and any actions involving external accounts are controlled by the parent.

5. Personalisation and audio

A child's nickname and pronunciation information may be used to generate or retrieve personalised spoken-name clips and story greetings.

6. Sharing and service providers

ululu does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers strictly as needed to operate hosting, database, storage, audio delivery, authentication and security, and product analytics.

7. Advertising and tracking

The signed-in, child-facing areas of ululu do not use advertising pixels, and child data is not used for behavioural advertising. Public marketing pages may use separate marketing measurement only where it is enabled, and never send child profile data, names, mobile numbers or account identifiers.

8. Data security

ululu uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including server-side authentication, restricted database access and private audio storage where applicable. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Retention and deletion

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the demo and service, security, account continuity and operational purposes. These retention practices may be refined before commercial launch.

10. Parent choices

Parents can update or delete child profile information through the product where this is available. Fuller account and data-request processes will be published before commercial launch.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the operating entity is formally registered, when commercial subscriptions launch, or when our data practices change materially. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
