NERIST NEE-2018 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is a unique Institute in the country having unconventional and innovative academic programmes. It was established in the year 1983 by the Government of India. Its foundation stone was laid by the former President of India Late Gyani Zail Singh on 4th March 1984.

The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted for admission in different modules Base (Certificate), Diploma and Degree modules of Technology Stream and 4 years Degree in Foresty.

NERIST NEE-2018 Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern for NEE-I
NEE-I question paper of 150 marks consisting of 3 section Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 3 hours duration. All questions will be of objective types with multiple choice answer

Physics : 35 Marks (35 Question)

Section-B
Chemistry : 35 Marks (35 Question)

Section-C
Mathematics : 80 Marks (30 Question of 1 Marks & 25 Question of 2 Marks)

Exam Pattern for NEE-II

NEE-II question paper of 150 marks and three hours consisting of two different modes PCMB and Vocational. All questions will be of objective types with multiple choice answer

NEE (PCMB)

Section-A
Physics : 45 Marks (25 Questions of 1 marks & 10 Questions of 2 Marks)

Section-B
Chemistry : 45 Marks (25 Questions of 1 marks & 10 Questions of 2 Marks)

Section-C
Mathematics : 60 Marks (30 Question of 1 Marks & 15 Question of 2 Marks)

Section-D
Biology : 60 Marks (30 Question of 1 Marks & 15 Question of 2 Marks)

NEE-II(Vocational)

Section-A
Physics : 25 Marks (25 Questions)

Section-B
Chemistry : 25 Marks (25 Questions)

Section-C
Mathematics : 30 Marks (30 Questions)

Section-D
Vocational Subject :70 Marks (30 Question of 1 Marks & 20 Question of 2 Marks)

NEE-III

NEE-III question paper of 150 marks of 3 hours duration. All questions will be of objective types with multiple choice answer. Question papers for each Branches/Discipline shall consist of four section.

Chemistry : 25 Marks (25 Questions)

Section-C
Mathematics : 30 Marks (30 Questions)

Section-D
Branch Subject :70 Marks (30 Question of 1 Marks & 20 Question of 2 Marks)
